NEPTUG has been sucessful in securing a £2,000 grant from the Foundation for Integrated Transport.
The funding will help us to:
- Bring together transport-related campaigners across North East England, including setting up local groups in each of the local authority areas of the new North East Combined Authority.
- Develop a platform to work with the new North East Mayor to improve sustainable transport across the region
- Provide a springboard for wider campaigns on franchised bus services, integrated ticketing, improved active travel access, and awareness raising on air pollution and decarbonisation.
